ELLA 7’s Rugby Union Tournament

Hosted at Apex Oval, Dubbo the Ella 7’s Rugby Union Tournament brings the game of Sevens to the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population, with a large number of male and female players going on to represent the Australian Sevens program.

The tournament attracted around 400 athletes, 20 state class referees and ball boys, and 20 officials from the Australian Rugby Union, NSW Rugby Union and Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team.

The event was a great opportunity for the Yarpa Hub team to share our range of services, supports and upcoming workshops with local and visiting mob.

The Yarpa team looks forward to returning to the tournament next year.
