Yarpa Activate

The University of Wollongong’s business incubator iAccelerate and the NSW Aboriginal Land Council’s Yarpa Indigenous Business and Employment Hub (Yarpa Hub) have come together in a partnership to launch Yarpa Activate, a six-week intensive program for Aboriginal entrepreneurs and businesses.

Our Latest Intake

Coming up in early 2022, Yarpa and iAccelerate will be taking Yarpa Activate out to NSW fire affected regions.

Funded under the Federal and NSW governments' combined Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLERF), the Yarpa Activate program will head to several Local Aboriginal Land Council areas across NSW.

This includes the regions in and around Bega, Batemans Bay, Tamworth and the Tweed Byron area.

The program will target Indigenous start-up businesses or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are in the ideation phase of their business and would like to benefit from a leading entrepreneurship program.
