14 July 2021 Yarpa Celebrates NAIDOC Week with Online Panel Discussion TweetShareShareEmailBuffer As National NAIDOC Week now comes to a close, we reflect on what an incredible week it has been for all. This year’s theme, ‘Heal Country’, sparked numerous conversations around the country. There were a lot of ‘firsts’ and many achievements that highlighted Indigenous Excellence, including, Australia Post permanently adding a section on parcels to list the First Nation country you’re posting to, NBA player and Olympian, Patty Mills selected as flag bearer for the Tokyo Olympics and then to top it off proud Ngaragu woman Ash Barty makes history by winning Wimbledon. What a week! And the list can go on! At Yarpa we celebrated NAIDOC week with our community and members by hosting a special panel featuring Yarpa businesses, Leticia Anne Designs, Banabi Water and Dana Contracting. The three businesses reflected on their journey as Indigenous businesses and how culture and community has shaped their way of doing business. If you didn’t get a chance to tune in, you can find the panel discussion below.
