About Yarpa Grow

Yarpa Grow is our signature 10-week business accelerator program. It is the only university-certified First Nations business accelerator program in NSW that is owned by an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation.

Yarpa is proud to have Western Sydney University as our delivery partner. For the second year in a row, Western Sydney University has been named number one in the world for its social, economic, and environmental impact in the 2023 Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings.

Who is Yarpa Grow for?

Yarpa Grow is for established First Nation businesses ready to grow. It is an exclusive business accelerator program for Yarpa First Nation Business Members who can commit to the full 10-week program.


How does Yarpa Grow benefit participants?

Yarpa Grow supports participants in setting strong foundations for successful and sustainable business growth. It provides specialised training, mentorship, resources, and support to build capacity, capability, and competitiveness.

As a university-certified micro-credential, participants gain credibility and recognition for their skills and knowledge in the business and academic sectors. It empowers First Nations entrepreneurs to create economic opportunities within their communities and contribute to overall economic development.

Key learning outcomes:

  1. Identify what business growth means and how it applies to your business.  
  2. Understand the key drivers of success and sustainability.  
  3. Analyse and select appropriate tools to develop capacity and scalability.​ 
  4. Develop and implement strategies designed to build and sustain a successful business.​
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business growth initiatives.  
  6. Explore ways to cultivate leadership that fosters community and culture.​

    Online scheduled learning to enable participation across NSW and foster connections with like-minded individuals.

  • Mid-point networking event with your program colleagues.
  • Ongoing coaching and mentoring from Yarpa Business Coaches.
  • End of program graduation event where participants pitch their business to corporate and industry leaders.
